Indoor recreation
N.B. – For the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, please reach out to individual organizations to determine whether their programs are running.
Visit this page on the County’s website for information on free indoor public skating sessions at the Prince Edward Community Centre and Wellington & District Community Centre. Helmets are mandatory for kids aged 5 years and under, and BYO skates! For those in need of equipment, Napanee’s Strathcona Paper Centre hosts affordable public skate sessions (see calendar here) and offers skate and helmet rentals. Click here, then on “Skating Opportunities” and “Public Skate” for more details.
Paused during the pandemic – Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) offers public swim sessions on Tuesdays 6-8 p.m., Thursdays 7-8:30 p.m., and Saturdays 1-3 p.m. Fees are: Child – $5, Adult – $6, Family – $15. The third Tuesday of every month is free.
