Sold out – The Baxter Arts Centre is offering an Art Esteem Summer Camp for kids aged 7-11 this summer. Participants will focus on boosting sense of self and being curious while engaging in a diverse range of activities including crafting, painting, and games. Cost – $50/day. Hours – 9-3.
Full with waitlist – Camp Wake is a water sports-based day camp with a special emphasis on wakeboarding on West Lake for kids aged 5-17 years old. Cost – $650+hst/week. Hours – 9-4.
EPIC Day Camp is a Christian camp located at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bloomfield for kids in grades 1-6. There are half-day ($50, 9-12 or 1-4) options or full-day ($110, 9-4) options. Themes include sports, art, or a combination of the two.
The Grass is Lava dance and music camp for 4-12 year olds will run in late August from 10-11:30 a.m. – the price is approximately $16/session.
Harper Run Stables is running a hands-on learning Day Camp (riding lessons not included) for 4 weeks in July. Each week is a different theme – e.g. Ponies, Stable Management, Vet Care, etc. The schedule is Mon-Wed from 9-12. Cost – $40/day.
The Hub Child & Family Centre offers summer day programs at local schools for children ages 4-12. Cost – $40/full day. Hours – 7:30-5:30.
Harbour Ridge Camp is a Christian camp on West Lake offering day camp options for kids aged 5-6 (from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.); 7-10 (from 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m.) and 11-14 (9 a.m.-10 p.m.) in 2021.
A Nature Camp for kids aged 6-10 is being run in Milford by two 15 year old girls who have completed the Red Cross babysitting course. The experience will include arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, and games. July 19-23 from 9:30-3:30. Cost – $200 ($40/day). Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info and to register.
A collaboration between Festival Players and Cultivate Education, PIC in PEC (Performance Incubator Camp) “allows young artists to craft an original play, expand their skills as actors, designers and playwrights while cultivating connections between their creative impulses and their sense of place in the County community.” In 2021 it will run from August 2-7, and is open to Prince Edward County residents aged 12-17. Cost – free. Hours – 10-4.
The Prince Edward Yacht Club offers a Learn to Sail summer camp for kids aged 10-18 years. Cost – $68.60/day. Hours – 9-4.
Full with waitlist – Quinta Do Conde in Black River hosts an organic farm camp for 5-12 year olds.
Pleasant Bay Children’s Camp is a Christian camp located in Consecon that is offering 2 day camp weeks in late July 2021 for kids aged 7-14. Cost – $42/day. Hours – 9-5.
The County Museums will be offering one week of History Alive! summer camp from July 19-23 for children age 6-12 at Macaulay Church / Heritage Park. If interested, fill out this pre-registration form – https://forms.gle/LNvCB71MkHyFfcqD6. Cost – $200+HST per child. Hours – 9-4.

Archway Connection, a nonprofit focused on emotional healing and mental health wellness, offers an outdoor summer camp for kids aged 6-13 years. Cost – $55/day or $185/week. Hours – 10-3.
County Clippers, the local youth basketball league, offers a 4-day summer camp for kids entering Grade 2-8 the following September. It takes place at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute (PECI) in Picton. Cost – $200. Hours – 9-3.
Hadherway Farms offers day camps for several weeks over the summer. They are for kids aged 5 and up with “a genuine interest in riding, horsemanship and stable management”. Hours – 9-3 (before and after care can be arranged).
The County offers History Alive! day camps at local museums for several weeks over the summer. Cost – $35/day. Hours – 9-4 (before & after care can be arranged for an extra fee).
Impact Arts Camp is a 4-day free arts-themed camp for kids aged 7-10 at the Hope Centre. Cost – Free. Hours – 8:15-4.
The Marysburgh Mummers offer drama camps for kids aged 8 years and up at Milford’s Mount Tabor Community Playhouse over several weeks during the summer.
Music at Port Milford runs a one-week half-day Choral Day Camp. Campers generally range in age from 7-13 years old. Cost – $80. Hours – 9-12.
The Prince Edward County Soccer Association (PECSA) has partnered with Challenger Sports to offer a one-week Soccer Day Camp in the past.
The Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) offers summer camps throughout July and August for kids aged 4-12. Please consult the PEFAC website for cost details. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available, and half days are also available upon request. Swimming lessons can be added for an extra fee. Hours – 8:30-4:30 (before & after care can be arranged for an extra fee).
Prince Edward Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron 851 runs free summer day camps.
West Lake Watersports Kids Camp (warning – the website plays music!) is a day camp for kids aged 6-12 – it includes one night/week of overnight tent camping. It also offers a $99/week Counselor-in-training program for 13 year olds. Cost – $199/week. Hours – 8-5.
The Municipality of PEC sometimes runs themed workshops for kids aged 5-11 on select days from 10-2 during the summer at the Ameliasburgh Heritage Village & the Mariners Park Museum.
Financial assistance for camp fees is available from The Children’s Foundation through their Camps of Hope program.
