Public Skating
Visit this page on the County’s website for information on free indoor public skating sessions at the Prince Edward Community Centre and Wellington & District Community Centre. Helmets are mandatory for kids aged 5 years and under, and BYO skates! For those in need of equipment, Napanee’s Strathcona Paper Centre hosts affordable public skate sessions (see calendar here) and offers skate and helmet rentals. Also – in the summer of 2024, Save the Wheels PEC started up public rollerskating/rollerblading sessions! Currently on at the Picton Arena from 12-2 on Mondays and Wednesdays. BYO Rollerskates / rollerblades.
Public Swimming
Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) offers public swim sessions on Fridays from 6-8 p.m. and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. Fees are: Child – $5, ages 12-17 – $8, Adult – $10, Family (two adults and any children living in the home under 21) – $20. There is also a $2 per person public swim on the third Tuesday of every month.
