The Baxter Arts Centre offers a wide array of camps for all ages. Most are sold out but some new ones were added to the schedule in mid-March! For more info, check the website.
Harbour Ridge Camp is a Christian camp on West Lake. Their Day Camps are running the weeks of Jul 24-28 and Aug 14-18 for ages 6-12. This year, they have 3 overnight camps for ages 5-14, Squirt Camp Jul 25-27, Junior Camp Jul 31-Aug 5, and Senior Camp Jul 10-15. They are also offering an overnight Wilderness Camp Aug 8-11 for ages 12-15. Check the website for more info.
Impact Arts Camp, a 4-day free arts-themed camp for kids aged 7-10 at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute, is running from March 21st-24th, 2023. Cost – Free. Hours – 8-4.
The Milford Nature Camp is run by two First Aid-trained 16 year old girls at the Mount Tabor Shed (2179 County Road 17). It’s open to kids aged 5-9. Arts and crafts and lots of outdoor fun are on the agenda! Email milfordnaturecamp@gmail.com to register. Cost – $250/week. Hours – 9:30-3.

Archway Connection, a nonprofit focused on emotional healing and mental health wellness, is offering three 3-day camps for kids aged 5-12 years. The dates are July 11th-13th, July 18th-20th, and July 25th-27th. Cost – $212 per 3-day session. Hours – 10-3.
County Clippers, the local youth basketball league, will be offering an Advanced Skills Camp for players going into grades 4 – 8 (July 12-14) and a For the Love of the Game Camp for players going into grades 2 – 8 (August 2-5) at PECI. Watch their Facebook page for updates.
The County Museums are offering their History Alive! day camps at local museums for kids aged 6-11. There is still space in the Macaulay Heritage Park week from July 11th-15th. Email jchase@pecounty.on.ca for info and to register. Cost – $40/day+HST. Hours – 9-4.
The Grass is Lava Children’s Dance Classes, held outside at the Eddie Hotel & Farm and hosted by the Flight Festival and Festival Players of Prince Edward County, will run from 10-11:15 a.m. on the weeks of July 18th-22nd and August 8th-12th, 2022. Ages – 4-12. Cost – $125/week. Hours – 10-11:15 a.m.
EPIC Day Camp is a Christian camp located at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bloomfield for kids in grades 1-6. July 25th-29th has an Art theme, and August 8th-12th has a Sports theme. There are half-day ($50, 9-12 or 1-4) options or full-day ($130, 9-4) options.
Free Spirit – The Holistic Way in South Marysburgh is running 2 summer programs – Horsemanship and Horse Love & Acrobats (acrobatic classes and horse activities) for kids aged 3-13. Visit their Facebook page (linked above) for details.
Fronterra Farm is running an outdoor nature-based Farm & Forest Summer Camp this summer. Children aged 4-8 can register for either July or August. Hours – 9-4. Cost – $1100.
Harper Run Stables is running a hands-on learning Day Camp (riding/riding lessons not included) for 6 weeks in 2022. Each week is a different theme – e.g. Ponies, Stable Management, Vet Care, etc. The schedule is Mon-Wed from 9-12.
The Hub Child & Family Centre is offering a summer camp at PECI and Kente Public School for children ages 4-12. Cost – $43/day. Hours – 7:00-5:30.
The Marysburgh Mummers is offering a drama camp for kids aged 8 years and up at Milford’s Mount Tabor Community Playhouse from August 2-19 (with performances on August 19th-21st). Total cost for 3 weeks – $275. Hours – 9-3. Email dramacamp@mummers.ca to join the waitlist.
Music at Port Milford will be running a half-day Choral Camp for kids aged 6-12 from July 18th-22nd at Bloomfield Town Hall. Campers will engage in group singing, movement and dance, and instrumental music on Orff xylophones, and have snack time at the park (food not provided). There is a final performance on July 22nd. PIC in PEC (Performance Incubator Camp), presented by The Festival Players of PEC in association with The Regent Theatre, “allows young artists to craft an original play, expand their skills as actors, designers and playwrights while cultivating connections between their creative impulses and their sense of place in the County community. Open to Prince Edward County residents aged 12-17. Cost – free. Hours – 10-5.
Pleasant Bay Children’s Camp is a Christian camp located in Consecon offering 4 weeks of camp from July 11th-August 5th for kids aged 5-13. Cost – $275/week. Hours – 8:50-4.
The Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) offers summer camps throughout July and August for kids aged 4-12. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Hours – 8:30-4:30, but please confirm details with PEFAC.
The Prince Edward Yacht Club offers a Learn to Sail summer camp in Waupoos for kids aged 10-18 years. Registration opens on March 15th. Cost – $363/week. Hours – 9-4.
The Prince Edward County Soccer Association (PECSA) is offering a one-week Challenger Soccer Day Camp from July 18-22nd. Cost – $172 for half days (9-12), $213 for full days (9-3).
Quinta Do Conde in Black River hosts an organic farm camp for 5-12 year olds. Cost – $612.50/week. Hours – 8:30-5:30.
Financial assistance for camp fees is available from The Children’s Foundation through their Camps of Hope program.
