Saturday March 14th
Maple Madness! This sweet month-long celebration has lots of fun activities in store for kids and their grown-ups. The more family-friendly stops include: Walt’s Sugar Shack (pancake breakfast); Sugarbush Vineyards (walking trail with maple trivia, hot chocolate); Campbell’s Orchards (maple walk & talk, pancake breakfast on Saturdays – book ahead); Waupoos Winery (with wagon rides to the sugar bush, farm animals to say hello to, and maple taffy); and Wildlings Play Cafe is offering special maple treats!
Free Public Skating from 12:30-2 at the Wellington Arena and 6-8 pm at the Picton Arena. Details here.

Sunday March 15th
Join County Kids Read and Anice Jewellery for stories and friendship bracelet-making at the Royal Hotel Chill Fest from 3-5 pm! Pay-what-you-can entry; suggested $10 donation/adult with proceeds going to County Kids Read.
The Picton and Wellington Library branches are offering their weekly Storytime and Singalong events from 10:30-11:30. Details here.
The Athol Rec Committee is hosting their an all-ages Scrabble Tournament! Happening at Athol Town Hall from 10-3. Email atholreccommittee@gmail.com to register. Check out their Facebook Group here.

Monday March 16th
County Creative invites you for a special Pottery Painting with Goats and Bunnies session in collaboration with Heal with Horses Small Animal Therapeutic Recreation Program—a Registered Canadian Charity dedicated to enhancing physical and mental well-being through animal-assisted activities. $25 per person covers entry, and your pottery piece is an additional cost. All Welcome Here is hosting a BIPOC Family Meetup for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) families at Wildlings Play Cafe from 3-5 p.m. Learn more and sign up here!
The Barrel Boys are performing a family-friendly afternoon concert of acoustic bluegrass and roots music at The Andrew Picton at 4:30 p.m. – a fundraiser for local arts organization The Department of Illumination.
