I can say with 99.9% confidence that an end to the Covid-19 pandemic would top the list of all Mother’s Day 2021 wishlists. A distant second? A break – even for a day! an hour? – from the daily worries and stresses accumulated during 13+ months of pandemic life.

Adega PEC and Events by Alanna are co-hosting Mother’s Day Tasting: Sips & Snacks, a virtual blind tasting event on Saturday May 8th at 8 p.m. Tickets are $85; there are 11 spots for County residents and 11 spots for Toronto residents. Attendees will receive 4 wine samples showcasing the local wines of Prince Edward County, tasty pairing snacks, and a 1 hour Zoom class. $5 from each ticket will be donated to Sick Kids Hospital.
