Your Prince Edward County guide to safe and local Mother’s Day shopping
Next Sunday, May 10th, is Mother’s Day. It also marks two months since the world shut down in an unprecedented effort to slow a global pandemic; needless to say, the last eight weeks have thrown even the most resilient of mamas for a loop. There are the essential workers putting themselves at risk on the daily, forgoing cuddles and much more to protect their family; moms caring for – and continually worrying about the well-being of – quarantined kids, often while juggling a job and/or financial stresses; and higher-risk mothers and grandmothers separated from the beloved little ones in their life, to name a few. I can say with 100% certainty that the mothers in your life deserve a little something special next Sunday!
What better business owners to support during these tough times than our fabulous, hardworking Prince Edward County people. A sure-fire win-win! Without further ado, here are some ideas for spoiling – in a sweet but safe way – your partners, mothers, and grandmothers, while supporting your beloved local people and places. As always, please let me know if I’ve missed any local Mother’s Day-specific offerings at andrea@pecparents.ca.
