Next Sunday, May 10th, is Mother’s Day. It also marks two months since the world shut down in an unprecedented effort to slow a global pandemic; needless to say, the last eight weeks have thrown even the most resilient of mamas for a loop. There are the essential workers putting themselves at risk on the daily, forgoing cuddles and much more to protect their family; moms caring for – and continually worrying about the well-being of – quarantined kids, often while juggling a job and/or financial stresses; and higher-risk mothers and grandmothers separated from the beloved little ones in their life, to name a few. I can say with 100% certainty that the mothers in your life deserve a little something special next Sunday!
What better business owners to support during these tough times than our fabulous, hardworking Prince Edward County people. A sure-fire win-win! Without further ado, here are some ideas for spoiling – in a sweet but safe way – your partners, mothers, and grandmothers, while supporting your beloved local people and places. As always, please let me know if I’ve missed any local Mother’s Day-specific offerings at email@example.com.
